Brand & Digital·2024

Terra Textiles

Terra Textiles, a B2B fabric manufacturer, wanted to launch direct-to-consumer with sustainable home goods. They needed to transition from industrial supplier to lifestyle brand.

The Pivot

Shifting from wholesale to retail requires more than a new website. We needed to build trust with consumers who'd never heard of them.

  • •Strong manufacturing reputation but no consumer brand recognition
  • •Product photography felt clinical rather than aspirational
  • •Packaging hadn't been considered in the B2B model
  • •Needed to communicate sustainability without greenwashing

Building Consumer Trust

1

Brand Positioning

We developed a narrative around 'thoughtful manufacturing' — celebrating both craft tradition and material innovation.

2

Visual Identity

We created a warm, tactile identity using earth tones and textures that reflect the natural fibers in their products.

3

Product Stories

We photographed products in real homes with real light, and wrote origin stories for each fabric line.

4

Packaging System

We designed minimal, recyclable packaging with seed paper hangtags that customers could plant.

The Solution

A warm, human brand that feels established despite being new to retail. The identity celebrates material quality and honest production, creating confidence through transparency. The e-commerce experience feels like browsing a curated boutique.
